JSON is great for programs, but hard to read in a spreadsheet. CSV opens straight in Excel and Google Sheets.
Convert it
- Open the JSON to CSV Converter.
- Paste your JSON, or upload a file.
- Convert and download the CSV.
What works best
A JSON array of objects with the same keys converts cleanly: each object becomes a row and each key becomes a column. Deeply nested data may need flattening first.
Example
[{"name":"Rina","score":90},{"name":"Amin","score":85}] becomes two rows with columns name and score.
Troubleshooting
- Check that the JSON is valid: no trailing commas, quotes around keys.
- If Excel shows odd characters, import the file as UTF-8.
