UPSC has strict rules for the photograph and signature, and it also takes a live photograph in the application module. Rejections usually come from the wrong file size, a signature that is not repeated three times, or a photo with a coloured background.
| Upload | Pixels | File size | Format |
|---|---|---|---|
| Photograph | longest side up to 600 px | 20 - 200 KB | JPG / JPEG |
| Signature (three times) | longest side up to 500 px | 20 - 100 KB | JPG / JPEG |
